The Web3 Foundation has launched Wave 25 of its EcoDev initiative. This time, the emphasis is on forming strategic partnerships with selected teams, to facilitate a shared vision and help tackle Polkadot ecosystem challenges. It also aims to improve coordination of business initiatives across parachains and the coming hub, while continuing support for the Decentralized Futures program.

Acala and Karura: A broken bridge.

Starting June 18, 2025, you won’t be able to send Wormhole-wrapped tokens from Acala or Karura to other blockchains via Wormhole. Users should withdraw or bridge back any Wormhole-wrapped tokens received on Acala or Karura to their original chains, before that date to avoid loss. Also affected are all Acala and Karura liquidity pools with Wormhole-wrapped tokens.
